The change of administration has led to many changes in CISA, the US lead agency on OT security. Changes in mission. Changes in personnel. Changes in approach. What CISA does and doesn’t do can have a big impact on vendors, asset owners, consultants, and of course government agencies.

We are pleased to have Nick Andersen, Executive Assistant Director for the Cybersecurity Division at CISA, in the Tuesday, Day 1 keynote block for a fireside chat with Dale. Nick has an impressive background in the military, private industry and government, including experience with OT security. He was the Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary and performed the duties of Assistant Secretary for the Department of Energy’s Office of Cybersecurity, Energy Security, and Emergency Response (CESAR). In these roles, he directed national efforts to protect America’s energy grid from cyber and physical threats, led responses to Iranian cyber threats, Puerto Rican disaster recovery, and energy crises, and spearheaded critical programs like Cyber Testing for Resilient Industrial Control Systems to mitigate supply chain vulnerabilities in energy infrastructure.

S4 has a history of fireside chats with CISA leaders. The experienced nature of the S4 audience allows the interview to dive right into the issues you need to know about for the next 1 to 3 years. Here are examples of past CISA fireside chats.
