Call For Presentations Closes August 31st
We want to see new faces, new ideas, and groundbreaking research on the S4x25 stage next Feb 11-13 in Tampa. This is the time to submit your proposed session. We review the sessions as they come in and we currently have accepted 40% of the sessions (24 out of 60 sessions) and have 22 maybe’s.
We highly recommend you read the CFP page and watch the video to increase your chances of being accepted. That being said, don’t overthink or stress about it. Submit a paragraph or two and if there is something that might be a S4 session in there we will work with you.
S4x25 is your chance to put your big idea and great work in front of 1000+ of the best in the world and most influential people in OT and ICS security.
S4x25 Tickets Go On Sale On Sep 16th
This date is important because we typically sell 500+ tickets at the ticket #1 price on the first day. If you want to save $400 on your S4x25 ticket, be ready to buy it on September 16th. See the tickets page for details.
Three 2-Day Training Courses At S4x25
The Sunday and Monday prior to S4x25 (Feb 9 – 10), we will offer three training courses.
- Joel Langill will teach: Conducting Threat Vulnerability and Risk Assessments For ICS.
- Joe Fitzgerald will teach: Applied Hardware Attacks: Embedded and IoT Systems.
- Joe Slowik will teach: Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) plus Detection Engineering and Threat Hunting (DE&TH).
(The fact all instructors are named Joe(l) is a coincidence. Maybe we should call them Jourses.)
The training courses will go also go on sale on Sept 16th. Each course has a maximum of 30 students. Course descriptions and pricing will be provided in the September update. The courses will be between $3K – $4K if you need info for budgeting.

When you purchase a ticket for S4x25, you will be provided a link to reserve a room at the conference hotel. The JW Marriott is beautiful and in a great location. The $299+tax rate is a huge discount. The 500 room block sells out quickly, so this is yet another reason to buy your ticket early.
(S4 alums … this year you will not have to deal with the pay down to $299 issue at checkout. Your reservation will show a $299 rate. Thank you Marriott.)
