The miracle we hoped for over the holidays didn’t happen. While the news about the lower lethality is great, the large numbers of people getting sick and projected to get sick this month made it impossible to hold the event as scheduled. Even if we could get a good crowd of attendees, we are far from certain we would have the speakers, staff, and venue availability to put on an S4 event. Therefore,

S4x22 is postponed until late spring

Postponed not canceled

We are working with the five venues and hope to have a date finalized this week, trying for one of the last two weeks in April. We wanted to let you know as soon as a firm decision was made to alleviate your worry and allow you to adjust your travel.

Your current ticket will be valid for the rescheduled S4x22.

Once we have the new dates, we will re-issue the cancellation/refund policy. It will remain the same as the current policy with the dates shifted. 60-days prior: 100% refund. 30-days prior: 90% refund. Full refund if government restrictions prevent travel … All attendees will have at least 30 days after the new dates are announced to cancel your ticket and get a full refund.

If you booked a room under the S4 Room Block at the Surfcomber, your reservation will be canceled and your one night room deposit will be refunded to your credit card this week.

Please make sure you cancel all other travel reservations. We are sorry for the inconvenience of this.

Once we have the new dates we will adjust the agenda, if necessary, and let you know your new speaking day & time slots and requirements for submitting your presentation materials. It is perfectly understandable if you are unable to present during these days due to previous commitments or any other reason. We will give you two weeks to confirm you are available and willing to accommodate the new schedule. I hope the answer will be yes for most of you because it is a heck of an agenda.

We appreciate your interest and support for S4 and the ICS Security Community. We currently have 457 registered attendees, even in these crazy Covid times. There are so many cool things planned for S4x22. We can hardly wait for you to be in Miami South Beach to experience it.
