The S4 giveback continues to be charity:water. Through donations and the Jerry Can Challenge we raised $13.9K at S4x26. This is approximately the cost of a small water system for a village. They keep the tech simple so the villagers can maintain the system, and charity:water keeps an eye on it via a SCADA system. Yes, it’s OT and critical infrastructure.
This brings the total raised for charity:water by the S4 community to $138K. There are many villages in Sierra Leone and Uganda who have clean water systems due to the generous donations of the S4 community. Thank you.
