Take a look at the new Proof of Concept (POC) Pavilion page on this site. A lot more information will be added, but for now it includes:
- The specific simply stated asset owner problem(s) that each participant POC will attempt to solve.
- The metrics that will be used to determine if each POC succeeded.
- The other two questions they will need to answer (how much did it cost and how long did it take).
- The OT network architecture that Booz Allen is bringing to S4. The system that the POC will need to install and solve the asset owner problem.
Right now Booz Allen is busy creating the documentation pack that an asset owner would provide to a vendor who is doing a POC. The hypothetical asset owner in this case has a more mature OT and ICS security program. This documentation package will be delivered by November 1st.
The S4 Events team is finalizing the format and rules for the live demos on the POC Pavilion stage. There won’t be a lot of marketing fluff. State the problem, describe and show your solution, did it meet the success metrics, and then face the questions from the S4 emcee and the audience.
